This is a plot of land which covers an area of 4961 sq.m. [Land for sale 2000 sq.m. ] (with 1695 Sq.m. within the residence and 3266 Sq.m. outside the residence), it is fully intact and suitable for building. Within this area, there are around 20 olive trees amongst other fruit-bearing trees, and a well, it is located in the village of LOUTSES which belong to the municipality of Thinalia, in the North-Eastern part of Corfu, at an altitude of 310 metres or around 1000 feet. At present, around 18 families live in the village of Loutses (English and German). Towns for shopping close by and at a distance of around approximately 10km are: Kassiopi, Aharavi, and Roda.

  Within this plot of land, and before 230 years, around the 17^th century, at the time when the island of Corfu was under the Venetian domination, the ancestors, as large agricultural land owners of the time, built a traditional house in a style characteristic to Corfu, in the architecture of the time, a two-floor stone building (with 75 centimetre external wall thickness), where:

On the ground-floor (with an entrance at the back of the building – on the Western side) and covering an area of 135 Sq.m., they built a privately owned family olive-oil processing plant, for their own need – they had 8000 olive trees at the time – with three large stone structures and with equipment of the time, with the relative modifications which the time that followed demanded, prior to the first-world war. The whole building rests upon a large arch (volt) with an opening of around 8 metres. It contains all the necessary storage spaces, in other words tanks where they kept the oil, the store-rooms, the stables etc.. All of these are maintained, as much as is possible, since the house has not been lived in for the past 25 years.

The first-floor, with the entrance of the house east-facing, looks out towards the road, covering an area of 226 Sq.m. and is the main family residence. It contains 8 bedrooms, Drawing-room, two fire-places, two internal ovens, a traditionally built-in kitchen, and its store-rooms. The entrance has a veranda (which in a Corfu dialect is known as “Botzos”) of 23 Sq.m and is supported by a characteristic, unique stone sculpted (by a local craftsman) column.
